'Allari Pidugu' tops the charts

Hyderabad, Sep 7 (IANS) Top composer Mani Sharma retains his position with a mass-oriented album for "Allari Pidugu".



The top five Telugu albums are:


1. "Allari Pidugu": The album is a good mix of racy numbers and catchy melodies to enthral Balakrishna's huge following. The album may even surpass earlier hits like "Narasimhanaidu" and "Samarasimhareddy".


2. "Athadu": The film's huge success has helped the audio sustain its appeal. Hard-hitting title number "Penu Thoofanu' and "Chandamama" have proved catchy.


3. "Allari Bullodu": The hit pair of K. Raghavendra Rao and composer Keeravani, known for sensational hits like "Pellisandadi" and "Trish Ichata Achata", has produced another interesting album.


4. "Muddula Koduku": Composer Vidyasagar, still savouring the success of "Chandramukhi", delivers a youth-oriented album. "Vennela Kurisenu Le" and "Kadile Silpam" stand out.


5. "Andhrudu": The film's success has enhanced audio sales. After impressing with an album for a love story, composer Kalyani proves himself again. "Purushudi Kosam" and "Kokilamma" are popular tunes.
