'Andariki Vandanalu' from Marudhuri Raja

Shooting of 'Andariki Vandanalu', presented by P Sujatha and produced by Palavali Jagannatha Reddy on the banner of Bhavishya Arts introducing popular writer Marudhuri Raja as director was launched at Annapurna Studios recently.

Tammareddy Bharadwaja gave the clap, while Pokuri Babu Rao switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised on Vijayachander and some child artistes. Earlier, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, D Ramanaidu, K Raghavendra Rao, Ravikishore, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna and others participated in the puja activities. Later, speaking on the occasion, Marudhuri Raja says, 'I entered the film industry some 18 years ago. I came to the industry to become a director, but settled as writer all these years. My dream has come true now. I have got a good story and very cooperative producers. Raghubabu, Brahmaji and Jeeva are playing the heroes in the film, while Vijayachander is playing a key role in the movie. We are introducing Sai Karthik as music director through this movie.

Regular shooting of the film would begin from September 6. How the society is getting spoiled due to the commercialisation of politics and how it should be cleansed for a clean and better democracy is the basic storyline of the movie.' Producer Palavali Jagannatha Reddy says, 'I liked the story and each character has its own identity.' Debutant music director Sai Karthik says, 'I was associated with Manisharma so far, and I thank the director and producer for giving me an opportunity to prove my talent as music director. There are six songs in the movie.' Vijayachander says, 'After playing mythological roles in 'Karunamayudu' and 'Shirdi Sai', I am craving for a good role in a social subject. Marudhuri Raja gave me a very good character in this film. I am confident that the film would be a hit.' Lyrics are by KK Raviraja, camera is by Shankar Kantheti, while story, dialogues, screenplay and direction are by Marudhuri Raja.
