Hyderabad, Oct 2 (IANS) After the failure of "Vijayendra Varma", action star Balakrishna is now banking on his next release, "Allari Pidugu", to regain his winning habit.

"My character in the film is dynamic", says the actor, paired with pretty Katrina Kaif and Charmi.

"I have never attempted such storyline before, and it is bound to bring cheer to my fans," adds the son of legendary N.T. Rama Rao, who believes in catering to the tastes of the masses.

He is again teaming up with seasoned director Jayanth to recreate the magic of "Laxmi Narasimha".

"It's a typically star-centred film that suits his larger-than-life image," says the bearded director who is considered a specialist in picturisation of glamorous songs.

Jayanth thanks producer Prasad of the P.B. Arts for giving him enough creative freedom and a big budget.

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who played a princess in "Malliswari", is playing a glam girl in the film. "This role is bound to give me the much-needed break in Telugu films," she says.

Charmi, basking in the glory of "Anukokunda", dons again the role of a village belle.

Top composer Manisharma teams up with Balakrishna again and produces a peppy album. "We have received a good response to the album," says Prasad.

It remains to be seen if Balakrishna breaks his jinx and delivers a record-breaking hit like "Samarasimhareddy" and "Narasimhanaidu".
