Bommarillu in Tamil

The successful Telugu film Bommarillu with Siddhartha and Genelia in the lead is being remade in Tamil as 'Santosh Subrahmanyam'.

The film got underway at Chennai on Monday.Jayam Ravi plays the hero and his brother Raja is the director. Genelia who played in the Telugu version is playing her role in the Tamil version too. She is making an appearance in a Tamil film after a long gap. She starred in the film Boys some time back.Prakash Raj who played Siddhartha's father in Bommarillu will once again play the father's role in the Tamil version.
