'Bommarillu' on top among Telugu films

Hyderabad, Aug 25 (IANS) Feel-good entertainer "Bommarillu", where Siddharth and Genelia stage a comeback, is the Telugu film of the fortnight.

1. "Bommarillu": The film combines a clash of ideas between father and son along with a tender love story. That makes it a good family entertainer.

2. "Pokiri": After a record-breaking 100 days, the action flick is slowly sliding down. But it remains the biggest hit of the year so far.

3. "Andala Ramudu": Leading comedian Sunil turns hero with this remake of Tamil hit "Sundarapurushan". The film on rustic love brings cheer to Supergood Films after a big gap.

4. "Ashok": With new releases bombing, the cliché-ridden action film of NTR Junior finds a place in this list.

5. "Vikramarkudu": Ravi Teja's antics make a winner out of a beaten-to-death plot. Director Rajamouli fails to come up with a strong storyline this time but his racy screenplay makes up for it.
