Chiranjeevi's charisma puts 'Stalin' on top

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (IANS) "Stalin" occupies the top position on the list this fortnight as it holds on in 390 centres, despite a drop in collections.

The top five Telugu films are:

1. "Stalin" - Chiranjeevi's charisma makes up for the confusing screenplay and the less than competent direction of Murugadoss, as the film still leads in the box office.

2. "Pogaru" - Actor Vishal delivers another hit to firm up his position in Telugu cinema. His anger looks realistic enough to make the film appealing despite the familiar plot.

3. "Samanyudu" - Actor Jagapathy Babu finds a hit after a long gap while Saikumar re-invents himself in this tale of an idealistic journalist.

4. "Bommarillu" - The feel-good entertainer has sustained due to poor new releases. It heralds the entry of talented director Bhaskar and re-launches actors Siddharth and Genelia.

5. "Raraju" - After a hat trick of hits, action star Gopichand disappoints in this rehash of an old Sathyaraj film.
