Hyderabad, Jan 22 (IANS) Music composer Ramana Gogula, once written off, bounces back and grabs the top slot with a soul-stirring album "Lakshmi".

The top five Telugu albums are:

1. "Lakshmi": "Dhaga dhaga" and "Hey satyabhama" stand out in this action film. The audiences are waiting for the actor-composer to deliver another musical sensation.

2. "Happy": Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja delivers a youthful album. Director Karunakaran draws from him peppy tunes like "Chal chal re" and "Happy" to suit his youth-oriented film.

3. "Style": If the dance-based film wins at box office, Mani Sharma's racy album is also bound to pick up. The composer could have fused some melody into fast-beats to make it a musical like "Disco Dancer".

4. "Chukkalo Chandrudu": Publicity has helped the music of Chakri to sell initially but now everything rests on film's box office performance. "Prema paravasam" and "Dholna dholna" have caught on.

5. "Kokila": Composer Madhukar delivers a good album, but it cannot be compared with Ilayaraja's score in "Kokila" of over a decade ago. "Veeri veeri" and "Snehama" are catchy.
