Journalism to Tollywood:

Nithya Menon and Priya Anand have reasons to smile, not just because they've become accomplished actors, but for doing something that they were supposed to do as a career. Yes, these two young, highly talented actresses were seen as Journalists in their last films. But did you know these ladies were also students of Journalism in college? Nithya says, although I'm from journalism background, I never thought I could be a journalist, because journalism is not what it was actually supposed to be. I assumed journalism would be fun, reaching to people with news around the world, but how foolish was I to believe that, when on the contrary in journalism only negative sells. I figured had I become a journalist I'd had my share of troubles there.

While Priya says, I believe films, journalism and all other media go hand-in-hand. I always wanted to get into films. I studies journalism to understand technical side of production. And I've also worked as a director for a TV channel. My education has helped me handle all kinds of people and to present myself in a better way.
