Film: 'Kedi No. 1'. Music: Rupali. Singers: Malgudi Subba, Mano, Madhavi.

Debutant music director Rupali is obviously aiming at the frontbenchers in his score for Telugu film 'Kedi No.1'.

But then, seasoned director Ravi Raja seems to have insisted on female solos to exploit the charms of glamour girl Ramyakrishna who stars in the film.

The album does not have a conventional duet, except for a teasing number rehashing many recent hit numbers.

It begins with the likely chartbuster "Moo Moo Mustafa....", rendered by Malgudi Subba, a specialist in seductive numbers, and Viswa.

This is followed by the solo "Tananana....", sung by Madhavi, who breathes life into it with her unusual voice.

The next song is a folk number, "Pattu Pattu", by Malathai with a catchy chorus.

The other side opens with title song "Kedi No.1', describing the dare-devil attitude of the protagonist.

Then comes a racy, teasing number and the album's only duet - "Pibili Song..." - rendered by Mano and Madhavi. This is nothing but a rehash of

recent hits from "Indra", "Okadu", "Simhadri" and other songs.
