'Lakshmi Kalyanam' tops Telugu audio charts

Hyderabad, Feb 9 (IANS) After the success of "Nuvvu Nenu", director Ravi Teja and composer R.P. Patnaik have once again teamed up in "Lakshmi Kalyanam". The album has made it to the top of the Telugu charts this fortnight.


The top five albums are:


1. "Lakshmi Kalyanam" - The audiences are wondering whether the duo can recreate the magic of "Nuvvu Nenu". "Aligave chitti" and "Bava bava paneeru" are catchy numbers.


2. "Desamuduru" - Another famed duo of director Puri Jaganath and composer Chakri has reworked its magic to deliver a sensational musical hit. "Satte satte" and "Ninne ninne" are very popular.


3. "Maharathi" - Helped considerably by the film's success, Kannada composer Guru Kiran has succeeded in his endeavours. "Kamala kutcha" and "Mangamma mangamma" have topped countdown shows.


4. "Anumanaspadam" - Legendary composer Ilayaraja ties up with ace director Vamsi after a considerable gap and they seem to have a winner on hand. "Ninnu vethiki" and "Raa gundama raa" are among the popular songs.


5. "Annavaram" - Ramana Gogula's album, a blend of melodies and fast track numbers, has sustainable appeal. "Lucia" and "Neevaala Neevala" remain toppers.
