'Malliswari' re-release could trigger trend

Hyderabad, Nov 13 (IANS): With no big films slated for Diwali, "Malliswari", a moderately successful film made earlier this year, has been re-released in 130 theatres here.

The producers, wishing to cash in on the holiday season, re-released the film starring Venkatesh and Katrina Kaif only a few months after it first hit the theatres.

If Suresh Productions' strategy succeeds, it could trigger off a trend of such re-releases.
