Mani Sharma's music scoring over Rahman
Jun 13, 2007 B. AnuradhaHyderabad, June 13 (IANS) This week composer Mani Sharma's songs are doing better than A.R. Rahman's tracks for "Sivaji".
The top five Telugu albums are:
1. "Dubai Seenu" - Director: Srinu Vytla. Top composer Mani Sharma's "Kol kol" and "Kanya raasi" are very popular this week. But in the long run the album's success will largely depend on box-office performance of the film.
2. "Sivaji" - Director: Shankar. The album sale is banking on pre-release hype and A.R. Rahman's album is yet to top the audio charts. "Style style" and "Sahara" are catchy numbers.
3. "Aduvari Matalaku Arthale Verule" - Director: Sri Raghavan. Composer Yuvan Shankar Raj's songs "Naa manasuki" and "O baby" have turned this otherwise comedy into a touching love story.
4. "Sathyabhama"- Director: Sri Hari Nanu. After the record-breaking hit "Desamuduru", composer Chakri scores music for this woman centric film. "Pyar karo" and "Gundelona" stand out.
5. "Munna" - Director: Vamsi Paidipalli. The film's collection at box office has dipped and so the interesting album by Harris Jayaraj is loosing its charm despite hit songs like "Kadulu" and "Manasa".
