'Monalisa' for Telugu screen

Bangalore, Aug 11 (IANS): Indrajith Lankesh has started work on the Telugu version of hit Kannada film "Monalisa" here.

Some portions featuring Telugu comedian Brahmanandam and Kovai Sarala were shot recently. After adding a few sequences with well-known Telugu artistes to make the Telugu version more acceptable, Indrajith will be dubbing the remaining portions in Telugu.

Mumbai-based model-cum-actress Sada has done the title role in this film and teams up with Dhyan. Indrajith says he will record the songs with new singers and also add a song to the Telugu film.

Shooting is also in progress for Sada's Tamil film "Anniyan", in which she teams up with matinee idol Vikram.
