Nagarjuna to play saint-poet

Hyderabad, Feb 13 (IANS): After bagging a state award for his performance as a saint in Telugu film "Annamayya", Nagarjuna will be now playing saint-poet Bhakta Ramdasu in another film.

He is teaming up again with veteran director Raghavendra Rao, writer J.K. Bharavi and composer Keeravani to recreate the magic of "Annamayya".

"It will be another milestone in his career", says Bharavi.

The unit has visited Bhadrachalam, a holy place associated with Hindu god Rama, to get into the right frame of mind.

Shooting may commence in mid-2005 after the rest of the cast is finalized.
