NTR Junior's career hinges on 'Ashok'
Jun 23, 2006 B. AnuradhaHyderabad, June 23 (IANS) After giving duds like "Andhrawala" and "Narasimhudu", NTR Junior is banking on his next release "Ashok" to make a strong come back and silence his critics.
He has teamed up with successful director S.S. Rajamouli to score a hat-trick - they have given runaway hits "Student No.1" and "Simhadri" in the past.
"He gave my character a new look and texture. This is an ideal film for my fans," said NTR Junior, grandson of legendary 'NTR' (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao).
He promises to bring back smiles on the faces of the admirers of the Nandamuri family. "I made a few mistakes in the past but now I am wiser enough not to repeat them."
The young actor, who co-stars with Sameera Reddy in the film, promises "mind-blowing dances".
Sameera describes her part as "pivotal" and thanks NTR Junior and the director for giving her the "multifaceted role".
Rajamouli's favourite composer Keeravani has belted out a mass-oriented album.
Producer Vallurupalli Ramesh is ready with "Ashok", his first big-action film, after making soft love stories "Vaalidaru Ishtapadaru" and "Pandem" and a dud like "Athanokkade".
"I am bombarded with calls from the fans of NTR Junior and I have assured them a delightful film."
The film is likely to be released in the first week of July.
