Om Shanthi is a bilingual film in Telugu and Tamil, with Rajiv Kanakala in the lead. The film is being directed by debutant Raj Nag.Rajnag has worked as an assistant to VV Vinayak earlier.

Vijayavarshini, a keyboard player is making her debut as music director with this film. The song 'Naa Chooopulonee … penned by Chandrabose is being recorded at Ramaniadu Studios in Hyderabad.MD Krishna is the producer. The film will have a total of five songs and the film will go in for regular shooting from August 10 and will be completed in two schedules. The movie has terrorism as its theme.The film will be shot extensively in Hyderabad and Malaysia. The two leading ladies are yet to be finalized. The film is about the present trend in the youth and their problems and shows them the right path in a entertaining way.
