Hyderabad, Feb 21 (IANS) After "Andhrudu", action star Gopichand proves to be a crowd-puller once again with "Ranam".

The top five Telugu films are:

1. "Ranam" - The anger-driven film is doing so well at the box office that trade circles wonder whether it will beat Gopi-Baburao's "Yagnani".

2. "Lakshmi" - Venkatesh has restored Telugu actors' place and pride with this film. Director Vinayak's winning streak continues though critics may criticise his fusion of action and family drama.

3. "Shock" - The film occupies this place because of Ravi Teja's reputation. However, the rehash of flop flick "Manoharam" is not going to be a high point of his career or producer Ram Gopal Varma's either.

4. "Style" - A huge promotion campaign by producer L. Sridhar is helping the dance-centric film sustain its position. With the film, director Lawrence has succeeded in promoting himself as an actor.

5. "Happy" - Flop director Karunakaran dents Allu Arjun's stardom. Even its promotion has not elevated the film's place in this list.
