Ranga Panduranga from August 8

Director K Raghaverndra Rao is making the film Ranga… Panduranga with Balakrishna in the title role. The film is continuation of Raghavedra Rao's mythological and devotional films like Sri Ramadasu and Annmayya.

The film is a remake of the original film Panduranga Mahathyam directee by Kamalkara Kameswara Rao with NT Rama Rao in the lead role. The film was made exactly 50 years ago in the yar 1957. Now his son Balkrishna is playing the same role. Priyamani and Sneha are being considered to play opposite Balakrishna in the film. The role of Panduranga's wife and the vesya are very crucial in the movie. The film will also boast of 10 other heroines. The film's muhurat has bee fixed for August 8. JK Bharavi has provided the script and MM Keeravani will score the music.
