Samudra turns Hero

Director Samudra made a mark with his films like 'Mahanadi', 'Sivaramaraju', 'Evadaithe Naakenti etc.

He is now reportedly donning the grease paint and will turn hero. A Tamil film 'Parutthi Veeran' with Surya and Priyamanai is being remade in Telugu. A new producer who bagged the remake rights for Telugu approached Samudra to direct the film.

The film with a rural backdrop is likely to have Priyamani once again playing the heroine. Samudra is reported to have agreed to star in the movie as a hero.
