Sekhar Suri to direct Raj

Shooting of the 'Production No. 1', directed by Sekhar Suri, introducing Santhi Chandra as hero and Urvasi Sharma as heroine was launched at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on September 6. Kanaka Rao, father of one of the producers Phaniraj, gave the clap, while State Minister K Rosaiah switched on the camera for the muhurat shot under the honorary direction of K Raghavendra Rao. Rishi and Rajiv Kanakala are also playing heroes in the flick. Director Sekhar Suri says, 'The subject needed a perfect and expert camera work and hence we chose Senthil Kumar as the cinematographer. There is only one song in the film and Vijay Kurakula is scoring music.' The film unit says, 'We are planning the regular shooting of the film from September 11 and the film would be shot at Hyderabad, Kerala and Araku Valley. The second schedule would be in October and the third schedule would be completed by December. We have decided to release the film during the summer vacations.' Action is by Ram-Lakshman and editing is by Tirupati Reddy.
