Shekhar Kammula's 'Life Is Beautiful' pushed to Sep 14

Chennai, Sep 3 (IANS) This is the second time the release date of director Shekhar Kammula's "Life Is Beautiful" has been postponed. The Telugu film, initially slated to release Aug 31, was first re-scheduled for Sep 13, but now it has been further pushed by one more day and will hit the screens Sep 14.


Kammula wrapped the shooting, which started in June 2011, in May this year and right now last minute post-production work is in progress.


Set in a residential colony, "Life Is Beautiful" narrates the story of six youngsters who share happiness and joy as they strengthen their friendship. To shoot the film, a colony was exclusively erected for the shoot at a cost of Rs.1 crore.


According to reports, Maa TV has bought the TV rights of the film for a whopping Rs.3.5 crore.


Kammula is introducing new faces - Abhijeet Duddala, Sudhakar Komakul, Kaushik, Shagun Kaur, Zara Shah, Rashmi Shastry, Kavya, Naveen, Vijay Devarakonda, Sanjeev and Sriram - who will be playing the lead roles in the film.


Micky J. Meyer has composed the music, while Vijay Kumar C has done cinematography.
