Sneha is still caught up in a whirling vortex of businessman Nag Ravi who claimed to have been in love with the actress but severed his relationship with her after she denied having anything to do with him.

On a petition filed by Nag Ravi in the Madras High Court,Justice Rajeswaran granted an interim stay of the release of Sneha-starrer "Manasu Palike Mouna Ragam" in Telugu.(The Tamil remake of the film is titled "Yen Inda Mounam"). Vikramaditya plays opposite Sneha in the Telugu film produced by Dev Kumar of Dega Arts.

The Judge ordered notice to the producer returnable in three weeks.

Nag Ravi, who runs a software company in Chennai, besides other businesses, including film production, alleged in his petition that the film is said to be based on the relationship between Sneha and him and that the actor (Vikramaditya) was shown in bad light.

He said that on his return from America a few days ago,he saw the promos of the film "Manasu Palike Mouna Ragam" on websites and also in the Telugu print media.

"The film is being projected as the true life story of Sneha and the captions say that the film revolves around a selfless girl who gets entrapped by a selfish lover. To make matters worse, certain old pictures of Sneha and me have also been used as part of the promos."

"Why should they print my pictures and what connection do I have with the film? They are trying to defame me and tarnish my image and reputation." he charged.

In his petition, Nag Ravi said that as he was a film producer also,he had had opportunities to have contacts with Sneha who hails from Andhra Pradesh. "Sneha and I along with her family visited Malaysia once and there we had taken a number of photographs. Some of these photographs were carried in newspapers in Tamil Nadu along side the reports that Sneha and I are in love. But Sneha denied the reports, saying the photographs were morphed. She also made a series of allegations against me.Then I snapped my relationship with Sneha."

He further said that though no relationship existed between them now ,just to promote the film "Manasu Plike Mouna Ragam",his personal life was dragged into it and was intended to tarnish his image and cause irreparable damage to his personal life. The release of this bilingual film might take place any time, he said and sought its stay. He also prayed that his photographs also should not be permitted to be used.

After having denied any relationship with Nag Ravi and spiked rumours about their impending marriage, Sneha had filed a defamation suit in the Madras High Court against Nag Ravi claiming Rest. 50 lakes in damages. This petition is pending disposal.

A correspondent of an English daily spoke with Nag Ravi and when it was pointed out that the producer had not said that the movie revolved around Sneha's true life at the film's launch in Hyderabad recently, Nag Ravi is quoted as saying: "That could be true, but reports in the print media state otherwise. Let the producer come out and clarify that the film does not revolve around Sneha's personal life and I will withdraw the case."
