Tarun prefers action films

Hyderabad, July 18 (IANS) Despite going through a lean patch, Telugu actor Tarun has apparently refused to play the lead in the Telugu remake of Tamil hit "Parijatham".

Surprisingly, he has turned down this feel-good movie on the grounds that it lacked action.

The child artiste-turned-hero acquired an appealing lover-boy image after smashing hits "Nuvve Kavali" and "Nuvvu Nuvvu". But his later attempts to become an action hero have failed.

Recently, he came out of his shell to deny reports of his marriage to a Bangalore girl.
