Telangana issue irks multiplex owners

The ongoing Telangana issue has not only irked civilians but multiplex owners as well. On a normal day, people on necklace road, Hyderabad are scurrying towards one destination- Prasad Multiplex. But, not likely off late. The growing telangana agitation has made several multiplex owners to pull down shutters.

Tollywood producers claim that they are incurring a loss of 2 crores every day. Suresh Babu, a popular producer and director said telangana constitutes 40% audience, we can't write off their revenue. He worries that produces will incur heavy losses if this issue worsens and no action is taken against it.

He says the possibility of new state, if one ever created would make us happy if both encourage movies as well without levying any conditions and allowing tax benefits on.
