Telugu actress attempts suicide

Wednesday, March 23, 2005: (Hyderabad): Telugu film actress Aarti Agarwal has been admitted in a Hyderabad hospital after a suspected suicide attempt. She is reported to be out of danger.

In her statement to the police, Aarti has said that she was depressed over a long period of time as a result of recurrent problems in her personal life.

She was also reportedly depressed because of recent rumours linking her to a Telugu movie star.
