U.S. Premiere of 'Andarivadu' draws Huge Crowds

The latest Chiranjeevi starrer 'Andarivadu' opened in the United States on June 4th at the Cineplaza 13 theater in New Jersey with showings at 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The film, released in the U.S. by Gemini Film Circuit International, drew large opening-day crowds, selling out for the first showing a full hour before it was set to begin. Viewer response to the movie was overwhelmingly positive. Excited moviegoers lauded the movie for its comedy, especially praising Chiranjeevi's role as a father, which infused humor into the film.

To handle the overwhelming interest in the film at its premiere in New Jersey, Gemini Films, along with Cineplaza 13 owner Vijay Shah, opened the movie on another screen, conducting both showings simultaneously at 8:30. The second theater was also packed in short order. Similarly large throngs arrived for the 10:30 showing, leading Mr. Shah and Gemini Films to once again create a second, interlocking showing. All four showings for the night were full.

Similar enthusiasm is expected as the film expands today to eight other venues across the country. With the help of Air India, prints of the film arrived on time for all showings nationwide. Gemini Films thanks Air India and Cineplaza 13 owner Vijay Shah, whose management staff deftly handled the large crowds. Click the Movie button below for more info:
