Popular producer MS Raju, who had brought several hit films in his career, is now going to wield a mega phone for his next flick. He chose to remake a successful Kannada film 'Mungaramalai' in Telugu under his debut direction on the banner of Sumanth Art productions in association with SPR Entertainments Pvt Ltd. Talking about the film, MS Raju says, 'The film had collected around Rs 40 crore share in Kannada. It is a romantic entertainer that runs with a good feel. There is a very good scope for sentiment too. We launched the shooting on August 18 at Sakhileshpur near Bangalore. Most part of the film runs with rain backdrop and there would be a continuous rain in Sakhileshpur during this season. So, we will shoot for about a month there. Later, we will shoot two more songs and some chasing scenes. The film would be completed in four schedules that run in August, September, October and November. We are planning to release the film as a Sankranthi gift. Though I took up direction, I will continue to produce films with other directors on my banner as usual.' However, MS Raju evaded giving details about the artistes and the technicians who are going to play in his direction.
