Vettai to release as Bhale Tammudu in Telugu

Make way for yet another dubbed film from Tamil. Vettai, starring Madhavan and Arya (of Vaadu-Veedu fame), is releasing as Bhale Tammudu in April. The two stars play brothers in the movie. It is directed by Linguswamy of Run, Pandem Kodi and Awara fame.

The makers say that the movie explores the bond between brothers in a different way. There is action, romance and sentiment in good proportion here. Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul are the female stars. Music-directed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures.

Since the makers feel that Vettai has that Telugu nativity, they went for a dubbed release, instead of remaking it in Telugu. In fact, plans are on to remake Vettai in Hindi with some suitable changes. Shahid Kapoor has been chosen as one of the lead actors. Hope this hit in Tamil will make it in Telugu.
