Vishnu to do a Trilingual film

It has been written that Vishnu Babu is currently in talks with director Mani Shankar (16 December, Tango Charlie and Knockout fame) to do a film loosely adapted from Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels.

The director is currently working on the script. Mohan Babu is the producer of this Telugu-Tamil-Hindi multi-lingual where Vishnu will be seen in the role of an unchallenged card player. As his fate would have it, he and three of his friends lose everything because their opponents cleverly rig the game.

The rest of the film is about how they turn into robbers so as to amass their lost wealth. The original was made in the genre of a crime-comic-drama. It is to be seen how the talented director would adapt it. In fact, Vishnu has already confessed to a daily, "We want to do a Guy Ritchie kind of a movie but our script is not similar to it".
