Will direct a film: Ramanaidu

The Movie Mogul has an unfulfilled dream. It is directing a movie. In an year when he will have produced films in all major Indian languages by September, when his Punjabi production will release, he may well start working on his debut directorial too.

"I have always cherished to direct a film. Many directors have said that they will assist me in the job, but I politely told them that if their names appear on the credits, people will think that they have ghost-directed the movie," he says adding that it shows their affection for him that they would do it without asking for credits.

The mega producer is also keen to work with Venky, Rana and Naga Chaitanya. "I am proud of the success of Rana and Chaitanya, my grandsons. Ever since I expressed my desire to work with them, many have called me saying they have a story for us. As I am busy with my Punjabi debut, I have not listened to the scripts," he said to a Telugu daily.
