Will khaki prove third time lucky for Venkatesh?

Noted actor Venkatesh is donning the khaki uniform for the third time in his

career for "Gharshana", the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit "Khaka Khaka", to

break his jinx in the genre of cop movies.

"I am playing an encounter specialist and the treatment is quite realistic,

far away from our regular cop stories," said Venkatesh. He has pumped iron

to work on his new look.

His earlier two films, including "Super Police", did not do well at the

box-office, making him turn to "feel-good" movies. Out of 50-odd films, he

has tasted success in love stories, family dramas and even comedies, but a

blockbuster cop story has eluded him.

Top actress Asin plays the female lead. It is Venkatesh's second film with

Harris Jayaraj after "Vaasu".
