Nitya Menon turns singer for Tamil film

Heroine Nitya Menon has turned to singing. She will be acting and also singing for a song in her upcoming Tamil film Malini22 Palayankottai. The film is being directed by yesteryear actress Sripriya. The film is a remake of Malayalam hit film 22 Female Kottayamand will be dubbed into Telugu and released simultaneously. This flick is touted as the film that will establish Nitya as an actress in Kollywood also.

Malini22 Palayankottai is a heroine centric film and this gives ample scope for her to showcase her talents. This film will not only help her as an actress but will bring out the other hidden talent – singing. She will be singing a song for the film. “Though I have sung quite a few songs in Malayalam films, it’s the first time I am singing a song in Tamil. Depending on its success I will consider whether or not to continue with my singing spirit," she said.
