Nivas Prasanna is the music composer for Kumki 2

Nivas Prasanna who shot to fame with his very first album Thegidi had composed for Vijay Sethupathi’s Sethupathi, Ashwin Kakumanu’s Zero and also Ashok Selvan’s Kootathil Oruthan.

Now he has been brought on board for Prabhu Solomon’s Kumki 2. An elated Nivas says, “I’m very selective about my projects and when this film came by, it was overwhelming. Prabhu Solomon’s manager met me and after nearly two months, I came on board. It was a surprise and I need to live up to Prabhu Solomon sir’s expectation”.

The combo of Prabhu Solomon and D Imman has given us blockbuster hits in the past and Kumki was one among them. Nivas hopes to match up to the expectations. The composing has begun and they have completed one song. Further elaborating on his other projects, Nivas says, “I’m joining hands with the Sethupathi team (director SU Arun Kumar and actor Vijay Sethupathi) again for another project. Apart from this, I have completed working on Ashok Selvan’s Nenjamellam Kadhal and CV Kumar’s untitled flick, a love story”.
