Nivedha in Vedalam remake

Nivedha Thomas is a popular Malayalam actress and has appeared in Tamil films such as Kuruvi, Porali and Naveena Saraswathi Sabadham. In Vijay’s Jilla she has acted as his sister but her role in Papanasam was much appreciated and showed the spot light on her.

Jilla director Neason is remaking Siva’s Vedalam in Telugu and Nivedha will be reprising the role of Lakshmi Menon in the Telugu film. This film will have Pawan Kalyan doing what Ajith did, in Telugu.

Nivedha’s recent Telugu film Gentleman opposite Nani has fetched her good reviews and visibility too. This must have made the makers to opt for Nivedha who has a sweet face and also decent acting skills. The film will commence its shooting from February 2017.
