Nivetha Pethuraj on working in Tik Tik Tik

Nivetha Pethuraj debuted in Oru Naal Koothu and followed it up with Podhuvaaga Emmanasu Thangam with Udhay Stalin and a Telugu film Mental Madhilo. Her upcoming films include Venkat Prabhu’s Party and Jayam Ravi’s Tik Tik Tik.

In Tik Tik Tik, she has done quite a few action sequences and she says, “I am very scared of heights and I had to do a rappelling shot, with a rope tied around my waist. It was at the height of a ten-storey building, and below was a dense jungle. I was totally petrified. Since my co-star Jayam Ravi did it I thought I should give it a try too.

Rappelling demands that while your one hand holds the rope above you, the other loses the rope around your hips to help you descend. I was doing this when suddenly, I lost my footing. I panicked. I shouted to Ravi that I was going to fall, and he caught me as I fell, saving me. Otherwise who knows what may have happened that day!" Click the Movie button below for more info:
