No Ban on Legend

The Election Commission today refused to ban Nandamuri Balakrishna's Legend in film theaters. According to guidelines, films of people contesting elections should not be telecast on Doordarshan but there can not be a ban on the films in private channels or film theaters. Also the makers of Legend have a no objection certificate from Election commission even before the release.

It is known that YSR Congress had submitted a requisition letter to Anantapur Collector to ban Balakrishna's Legend movie stating that it is in favour of Telugu Desam Party and there are several dialogues in the film supporting the party. They also pressed for the ban of the movie till the elections are complete as Balakrishna is also contesting this elections. Click the Movie button below for more info:
