No film shooting on 26th August

Aug 22, 2017 JB

Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC), released an official press statement today, the 22nd August to inform that no film shooting would take place on the 26th of August. But this time around, it is not because of any strike or discordances but because of a different reason.

South Indian Cine & Television Union Directors, Stunt Artistes Union, would be celebrating their association's 50th golden jubilee year in a grand manner. Therefore, the members of the union requested the Producers Council to cancel all the film shootings, to enable everyone to participate in the celebration.

Heeding to the union's request, TFPC has announced that no film shooting or television serial shooting would happen on the requested date. Currently Tamil films like Kaala, Dhruva Natchathiram, untitled Sivakarthikeyan - Ponram film, Thupparivaalan, 96, and others are being shot and they may not shoot on this day.
