No heroine for Siddharth

Feb 5, 2016 JB

Jil Jung Juk directed by Deeraj Vaidy is produced by Siddharth for his Etaki Entertainment and he also features in the film along with Sananth and Avinash Raghudevan. Music scored by Vishal Chandrashekar is already a hit and the song Shoot the Kuruvi is topping the charts.

In a recent interaction with the media, Siddharth talks about the film. He says, “It is not an experimental film but is a quirky fun-filled comedy, which will satisfy both class and mass. As misconstrued by a few, it is not against women. As a producer, I want to rake in profits. So, the entertaining aspects are maintained intact. Deeraj’s narration is quite novel and Vishal Chandrashekar’s compositions are arresting.”

On why there is no heroine in the film, Siddharth explains, “I felt the script did not require a female lead, and the director has made it in such a way that the audiences will not feel the absence of a heroine”.
