Not Shraddha, but Disha Patani will romance Tiger Shroff in Baaghi 2

Ever since the sequel to the 2016 ‘Baaghi’ was announced, one thought that Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor would reprise their roles from the prequel.

However, producer Sajid Nadiadwala recently announced the name of the leading lady of the film, and it’s not Shraddha, but Tiger’s rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani.

“They share an amazing onscreen chemistry, which was evident in their look test. Disha is just perfect for the role. I am happy with my cast and am excited to kick-start the project,” said Sajid.

The ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ actress took to twitter to express her excitement, after Sajid Nadiadwala made the announcement on Twitter. She wrote, “Thank you so much ?????? so honoured ????I am so excited, can't wait for it to start @sajidnadiawala @khan_ahmedasas @iTIGERSHROFF #baaghi2?”

While ‘Baaghi’ was directed by Sabbir Khan, the sequel will be directed by Choreographer Ahmed Khan and is slated to release April 27, 2018.
