Nothing vulgar in 'Rajjo', says Vishwas Patil

New Delhi, Oct 25 (IANS) Vishwas Patil's "Rajjo" is based on the life of a prostitute, but the director has ensured that no inappropriate dialogues or bold scenes are included in the film.

"I always wanted to make a family film, and you can see this in my film as well, although it is about a prostitute who tries hard to survive. I did not use any abusive language and hot scenes in the film," Patil said in a statement.

The director wanted his debut film to be a complete family entertainer.

"My priority was to make a family film rather than a film for a particular age group. I can assure you that you can watch this film with your family," he said.

At a time when item numbers seem to be an essential feature of films today, "Rajjo" has none.

"Music director Uttam Singh decided to swim against the tide and resisted including such songs in the soundtrack of 'Rajjo'," said a source close to the film.

Produced by Four Pillars Entertainment, "Rajjo" stars Kangana Ranaut, Paras Arora, Prakash Raj, Mahesh Manjrekar and Jaya Prada. It will hit screens Nov 15.
