‘OMG 2' release date confirmed

The release date of the film, ‘OMG 2’ (‘Oh My God 2’), starring Yami Gautam and Akshay Kumar, has been announced. According to a tweet by Akshay, the movie will hit the screens on August 11.

Akshay also shared a new poster of the film, where he is seen as lord Shiva and is holding a ‘damru’. He wrote: “Aa rahe hain hum, aayega aap bhi.11th August.In theatres.#OMG2.”

Yami also shared the same poster on her Instagram account. She captioned it: “The date is locked! #OMG2 releasing in theatres on August 11, 2023.See you there!”

‘Oh My God 2’ is set against the backdrop of sex education in India. Actor Pankaj Tripathi plays a key role in the film, which is the second instalment of ‘Oh My God!’, released in 2012.

The satirical comedy-drama film was based on the Gujarati stage-play ‘Kanji Virudh Kanji’, which itself was inspired by the Billy Connolly film ‘The Man Who Sued God’. Click the Movie button below for more info:
