‘Oru Jaathi Jaathakam' starts rolling

Director M Mohanan’s new film, ‘Oru Jaathi Jaathakam,’ went on the floors in Ernakulam after a puja ceremony on Sunday. Starring Vineeth Sreenivasan and Sreenivasan in lead roles, the film is produced by Maha Subair under the banner Varnachithra films. It has screenplay by Rakesh Mantodi.

Producer GoodKnight Mohan did the switch-on of the film and Sreenivasan made the first clap. The film also features Nikhila Vimal, Babu Antony, Kayadu Lohar, P P Kunhikrishnan, Mridul Nair, Isha Talwar, Vidhu Pratap, Sayanora Philip, Amal Thaha, Indu Thambi, Ranji Kankol, Chippy Devassy, Ranjitha Madhu, Varsha Ramesh, Aravind Reghu and Sarath Sabha et al.

Ranjan Abraham has been roped in for editing of the movie. Guna Balasubramanian composes music to the lines penned by Manu Manjith. Sharesh Malayenkandy is the co-writer of the film, which has cinematography by Viswajith Odukkathil.

M Mohanan, who made his directorial debut with ‘Kadha Parayumbol,’ had his last outing as director in ‘Aravindante Athidhikal’ in 2018.
