Oru Pakka Kadhai finally cleared by the Censors

Director Balaji Tharaneetharan who shot to fame with his debut vehicle Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom made his second film Oru Pakka Kadhai starring Kalidas Jayaram and Megha Akash. The film was ready long back and a special screening of the film for directors earned Balaji a good name for him and the film.

But sadly so, the film got stuck at the Censors for the use of word ‘intercourse’ in the film. Thankfully, the revising committee has now allowed the use of the word and the film has been granted a U certificate.

Premkumar is the DoP of the film while Vasan Visual Ventures is funding the film. Now that all the decks have been cleared for the film, we might expect a release date for Oru Pakka Kadhai soon. Meanwhile, director Balaji Tharaneetharan has started his 3rd venture Seethakkadhi starring Vijay Sethupathi. Click the Movie button below for more info:
