Parthiban's daughter Keerthana to get married

Keerthana, daughter of director/actor Parthiban would be marrying Akshay, son of national award winning editor Sreekar Prasad on the 8th of March in Chennai. Parthiban plans to conduct the wedding in a very simple manner.

Keerthana entered the film industry as a child artist in Mani Ratnam’s Kannathil Muthamittaal. She is working as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam now in many films. She is also involved in the story discussion process in Parthiban’s films. On the other hand, Akshay has directed the Hindi remake of Pizza in Bollywood. Right now, he is busy in directing a few Tamil and Hindi films.

On his daughter’s wedding, Parthiban says, “Keerthana is presently working in story/screenplay discussion of my film. When children reach the marriageable age, as a parent, we need to complete our responsibilities towards them. On that basis, I had decided that Keerthana should get married. On the basis of friendship, Sreekar and I talked it over and decided on this alliance. We would be inviting people who are close to our family for the wedding”.
