Parvathy Nambiar in 'Leela'

Parvathy Nambiar is roped in by Renjith to be the heroine in his forthcoming movie ‘Leela’. Earlier Rima Kallingal, Karthika, and Ann Augustine were considered for the role.

‘Leela’ is an adaptation of Unni R’s short story of the same name. The script of the movie is penned by Unni R. ‘Leela’ is the story of the relationship of the mahout Kuttiyappan and the orphan girl Leela.

Biju Menon will essay the male lead role of Kuttiyappan. Earlier the names of Mammootty and Sankar Ramakrishnan were heard for the role. Vijayaraghavan and Jagadish also do prominent roles.

The film which will start rolling from 2016 is produced by Renjith under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Pictures.
