'Pathemaari' shooting in progress

The shooting of the movie ‘Pathemaari ‘is in progress. ‘Pathemaari’ directed by National award winner Salim Ahmed stars Mammootty in the lead role. New face Jewel Mary does the female lead.

Mammootty plays an emigrant named Pallikkal Narayanan in this film and Jewel Mary does the role of Nalini, Narayanan's wife. The period from 1960 to the present form the context of the story.

Actor Siddique’s son Shaheen Siddique makes his debut through ‘Pathemaari’. He does the role of the son of the character played by Mammootty in the film.

Sreenivasan, Siddique, Salim Kumar, Yavanika Gopalakrishnan, and Joy Mathew are the other main actors in 'Pathemaari'. Madhu Ambatt is in charge of photography and Rasool Pookkutty does the sound mixing for the movie.
