Pencil is a new age thriller!

Pencil, the debut movie of GV Prakash is said to be a new age thriller on the lines of Pizza and Soodhu Kavvum. It is being said that the story revolves in a school and both GV Prakash and Priya Anand play the roles of students.

Sources say that GV and Priya Anand have lost a lot of weight for the film and are putting a lot of effort to look the part of young students. Pencil is being directed by Mani and is said to have many thrills and twists to hook the audience. The crew is saying that the lead pair is quite excited about their roles and particularly GV, who is facing the camera for the first time as the lead.

GV Prakash, apart from playing the protagonist in the film is also composing 4 songs for the film. Gopi Amarnath of Pizza fame is the cinematographer of the movie. Makers are promising that the movie, though a short one with only 2 hours watch time, will definitely thrill the audience.

The shoot of the film will commence in December and will be completed in a single schedule in Chennai. Makers are planning to release the movie sometime in March before the exams season and the summer releases.
