Perarasu writes a song for Kamal

Ulaganayagan Kamal will be turning 62 on Monday the 7th November. Usually his fan clubs will be conducting welfare activities like blood donation camps etc. But the actor had announced earlier to his fans not to have any celebration as TN CM J Jayalalithaa is not well and is in hospital.

But director Perarasu of Thirupachi and Sivakasi fame has teamed up with Thor Nishanlee, a Norway based Srilankan and director SE Sabari for a special song, which will be unveiled on Kamal Haasan's birthday as a tribute to Ulaganayagan.

Speaking about the song, director Perarasu said, "Sabari is a big fan of Kamal Haasan. He asked me to pen lyrics for his tribute song which he will be releasing on Kamal Haasan's birthday. Nishanlee has worked with Harris Jayaraj in many films, and his songs are impressive. Our tribute song starts with the lyrics, unakkul oruvan, enakkul oruvan, kalaiyin thalaivan yaar.
