‘Ponniyin Selvan 2' release announced

The release date of filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s period drama ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ was announced on Wednesday. The film is the sequel to ‘Ponniyin Selvan,’ which was released in September this year.

According to the makers, ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ will hit the big screens on April 28, 2023. The film features Chiyaan Vikram and Jayam Ravi in major roles. It is produced by Mani Ratnam and Allirajah Subaskaran under the Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions banners.

Along with a tweet, Lyca Productions shared a video to re-introduce fans to its cast members.
