Pooja Devariya in Aandavan Kattalai

Pooja Devariya got noticed with her sprightly performance in Karthik Subbaraj’s Iraivi. She will soon be a part of Kaakka Muttai fame director Manikandan’s Aandavan Kattalai. This film has Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame as the heroine and Vijay Sethupathi as the hero. Pooja had also worked with Manikandan’s Kuttramae Thandanai which is yet to release.

About the film and her role, Pooja says, “I can't reveal much about my role but it will be different from what I have done in Kuttramae Thandanai.

This is a feel-good film. It is very difficult to put Manikandan's film under one genre, but you can call this a romantic-comedy of sorts. The role is very interesting and I helped develop it during the pre-production stage. Working with Manikandan is always a pleasure; he is a man of clarity.
